Can I have a multicultural wedding?
My boyfriend is from Samoa and Indians'm Mexican Americans and Native Americans, is too much to try to incorporate aspects of the four cultures that make us who we are? I really want a multicultural wedding and playing with ideas of how, for example, he asked his aunts for all groomsmen and bridesmaids a beautiful island print dress. We were also thinking of having dancers perform circle in our marriage and, possibly, a round dance, sung by my brother, for our customers. I wanted to play a Mariachi for a time when the reception is just the beginning. Is this too much to try to do a wedding? What do you think? It 'better to have only subtle accents of our cultures through design, cake or favors instead of full on entertainment? I am in conflict and would like some suggestions or interesting ideas. Thanks.
